Santorini, Greece – In Photos

Santorini, one of the most famous of the Greek Islands. Nestled in the Aegean Sea, Santorini was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century B.C.E. It is because of this eruption that Santorini has its incredibly rugged landscape and villages that cling to cliffs above an underwater crater.

It`s one of my favourate places. Some years ago, we starten there with a sailboat. One day, I will come back to Oia.
Had the pleasure to spend three days on this Paradise nearly 9 years ago. Still my favourite place of all time!
Thanks Ray! We would love to visit again some day 🙂

Spent 3 nights in Santorini last October while traveling solo and absolutely loved it. I am a woman 60+ and I felt totally safe doing so. Would love to come back and making plans to visit Paros and Crete also this fall, because I love the Greek Ambiance so much.
Hi Louise – I am so glad to hear you enjoyed Santorini! Greece is an amazing country and has some spectacular sights. I don’t think you can go wrong! Crete is on our lists. We also loved Zakynthos (you can check out our post on that if you’re interested too!). Enjoy your holiday planning 🙂
