Bicheno Blowhole, Bicheno – East Coast of Tasmania

A short drive out of Freycinet National Park is the Bicheno Blowhole and we stopped in for around 10 minutes on our way up to The Bay of Fires.

About Bicheno Blowhole

The blowhole is stronger and more powerful when the swell is bigger so it could be all about luck and the timing. Again we were lucky enough to be the only people there for a short while so we could sit back and enjoy the bursts of water coming out of the blowhole.

I told Jenna to go and stand on a rock which was in a great spot to get a photo.. little did she know, the spot is great.. great if you want to get completely drenched by the blowhole! Yep, she was definitely unsuspecting of the force of the water and got saturlet’s. The water was, lets say.. refreshing! It certainly made for a very enjoyable morning.

Here are a couple of pictures from our stop at the blowhole. Be prepared to get wet when you’re there!
